Regina S. ("Gina") Schoenberg focuses her practice on trust and estate planning and administration. With years of experience prosecuting matters of elder abuse and financial exploitation, she has seen firsthand the importance of having a comprehensive plan in place, regardless of net worth.
Prior to joining Connolly Gallagher, Gina served for ten years as a Deputy Attorney General at the Delaware Department of Justice, where she was most recently the Deputy Director of Consumer Protection in the Fraud and Consumer Protection Division. As Chair of the Senior Protection Initiative, Gina served as the liaison between the Department of Justice, law enforcement, state agencies serving the population of older adults and persons with disabilities, and the public. She clerked for the Hon. Joseph R. Slights, III in the Superior Court of the State of Delaware.
Gina is an active member of the Women and the Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association, where she has served on the Awards Committee since 2016. She is a dedicated member of the Delaware community, serving as a board member for Children and Families First of Delaware and Siegel Jewish Community Center. Gina is also an active volunteer for Jewish Federation of Delaware and Congregation Beth Shalom.
Gina earned her J.D. with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law where she served as President of the Jewish Law Students Association. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and English, both with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
