In re Delaware Public Schools Litigation, –A.3d –, 2024 WL 332738, at *1 (Del. Jan. 30, 2024)

Connolly Gallagher attorneys, hired for the appeal by New Castle County, obtain reversal of an attorney fee award by the Court of Chancery to public interest plaintiffs. The Court held that the common benefit doctrine would not be expanded, and that the private attorney general doctrine could not be a basis for the award. Max Walton argued the matter before the Delaware Supreme Court.
