In the Matter of the Estate of Meredith L. Sullivan, 2018-0741-PWG (Del. Ch. 2018).

Connolly Gallagher attorneys Scott Swenson and Shaun Michael Kelly represented the named beneficiary of certain life insurance policies in litigation regarding whether Pennsylvania law should apply to divest the named beneficiary of their right to receive the proceeds of such policies. Connolly Gallagher prevailed in the Court of Chancery in establishing that an employer-based insurance policy would be governed by Delaware law pursuant to conflicts of laws principles. The matter settled prior to appeal.
