Tim Holly has been elected Vice President and Executive Committee member of the Board of Directors for the Delaware Humane Association (“DHA”). Founded in 1957, DHA is Delaware’s premiere nonprofit no kill animal care and adoption center, serving a four state area. DHA embraces a philosophy of humane and ethical care of all living creatures. DHA makes every effort to ensure that the physical, medical, social, and emotional needs of animals are met every day. DHA makes a life-long commitment to each animal accepted into DHA’s care. DHA does not euthanize animals to make space to house others. DHA works to preserves life whenever possible. Everything DHA does to build a system to protect and care for homeless pets is to help create a more humane society. DHA receives no government funding, and relies on the support of the community in the form of volunteers, private donations, bequests, grants, fundraising events, DHA’s Guardian Angel Program, and DHA’s Helping Hands Club to complete its mission.
