Congratulations to Our IP Team For Their Contributions to Launching the Delaware Intellectual Property Alliance (DEL IPA)!

Connolly Gallagher would like to congratulate our IP team for their contributions to launching the Delaware Intellectual Property Alliance (DEL IPA)!

We’re thrilled to share highlights from the official launch event, which brought together leaders from across the IP, legal, corporate, and policy communities to champion innovation and IP awareness in Delaware.

The event was truly a team effort and we’d like to thank Ed Brant (The Chemours Company, DELIPA Board member and sponsor) and his team for hosting us plus arranging for Gerardo Familiar, President, Advanced Performance Materials at Chemours, to deliver inspiring opening remarks. Our own Chip Connolly played a key role arranging and introducing Wilmington Mayor John Carney (former Governor). INTA’s Czareena Dotchev and Jenny Simmons organized an impactful video message from Senator Chris Coons (watch it here).

Special thanks to DELIPA Board members and sponsors Elizabeth Sylves (CSC Global) for managing membership and registrations, John McGlynn (Buchanan) for his help in obtaining PA CLE credit for the event, and finally DEL IPA Chair Roberte Makowski (Connolly Gallagher) who was crucial in managing the entire event and sponsor support, and obtaining DE CLE credit.

Thanks to our stellar speaker lineup including Jenny Simmons, John McGlynn, Miriam Lord (US Copyright Office), and Dahlia Girgis (US Patent and Trademark Office). While Mark Kuller (Widener Delaware Law School) couldn’t present due to time constraints, we look forward to having him at our next event.

Thank you to all our sponsors, speakers, and supporters for making this launch a success!
