Connolly Gallagher Lawyers Recognized in Chambers Guide to Private Wealth Lawyers

Charles J. Durante and Gregory J. Weinig of Connolly Gallagher LLP, and the firm’s trusts and estates department generally, have been recognized as leading private wealth legal advisors by Chambers and Partners, an international law-firm rating agency.

The newly-published guide, Chambers HNW 2016, recognizing the world’s leading high net worth advisers, ranked Connolly Gallagher among the top Delaware firms in trusts and estates, citing its work on behalf of trustees, beneficiaries and other fiduciaries, and its reputation in the field. Connolly Gallagher was among just five Delaware firms to be recognized.

The London-based rating agency specifically identified Messrs. Durante and Weinig among the state’s top lawyers in the field. The publication described Mr. Durante as “well regarded in this community,” quoting sources who describe him as “a fine lawyer, very thoughtful and careful.”

Mr. Weinig is described by Chambers sources as “a nice guy and really smart,” and as a lawyer who is “doing a very, very good job and goes the extra mile.”

Chambers evaluates private wealth management professionals around the world, based on independent research by its staff among clients, peers and other professionals.

Based in Wilmington, Connolly Gallagher represents clients in corporate litigation, commercial transactions, employment, bankruptcy and public interest litigation, in addition to its trusts and estates practice. The Chambers guide states of the firm generally, “They are all good lawyers over there.”
