Wilmington, DE (January 2, 2018) – Connolly Gallagher LLP is pleased to announce that David S. Conway and N. Christopher Griffiths have been elected partner, and Kelly M. Conlan has been promoted to Of Counsel effective January 1, 2018. “We are proud to congratulate our attorneys and we are excited for the opportunity to work with them as their respective practices grow,” said Arthur G. (“Chip”) Connolly III, Managing Partner of the firm.
To better serve the firm’s Labor and Employment clients, the firm also recently named Aaron M. Shapiro, formerly the Labor Relations and Employment Practices Administrator for the State of Delaware, as Of Counsel. “With Aaron joining the firm, we now have one of the most experienced and diverse Labor and Employment practices in the State, and we look forward to helping our clients address an even broader range of employment-related issues, including collective bargaining and counseling of public sector and large institutional clients,” said Matthew F. Boyer, practice group co-leader.
David S. Conway is a member of the firm’s Delaware Corporate Counseling group. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and other commercial transactions, as well as advising Delaware corporations, alternative entities and their fiduciaries with respect to statutory requirements in the context of such transactions. David is a 1996 cum laude graduate of Cornell Law School, where he served on the Law Review. He is admitted to practice in both Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Christopher Griffiths is a member of the firm’s Commercial Bankruptcy, Delaware Business Litigation and Government groups. His practice focuses on representing municipalities and government agencies, advising general counsel and representing clients in contract negotiations, land use disputes, HOA disputes, and bankruptcy-related litigation. Chris is a 2008 graduate of Villanova University School of Law.
Kelly M. Conlan is a member of the firm’s Commercial Bankruptcy group. Her practice focuses on complex commercial reorganization and liquidation cases, including commercial landlords, executives, employee healthcare insurance providers, and other interest holders. Kelly is a 2005 graduate of Villanova University School of Law.
Aaron M. Shapiro is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment group. His practice focuses on labor relations, collective bargaining, administrative law matters, and government relations. Aaron is a 1995 cum laude graduate of Widener University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in both Delaware and Pennsylvania.
