Connolly Gallagher Represents Comcast In Infringement Victory
On October 15, 2014, working with lead counsel from Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, Connolly Gallagher received an infringement verdict and damages award of $7.5 million in favor of their mutual client, Comcast IP Holdings I, LLC. The jury verdict followed a week-long trial in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware against Sprint Communications Company L.P., Sprint Spectrum L.P., and Nextel Operations, Inc. Comcast alleged that Sprint infringed three Comcast patents through Sprint Mobile Integration, Google Voice on Sprint, and Airave 2 small cell services. The jury found Sprint infringed all asserted claims of the three Comcast patents at issue. Connolly Gallagher attorneys Arthur G. Connolly, III, and Ryan P. Newell represented Comcast in the litigation.
