Connolly Gallagher’s, Tim Holly Contributes “Anti-Retaliation Provision” Analysis to DBT

Connolly Gallagher partner, Tim Holly contributes his employment law insight to the Delaware Business Times regarding Delaware’s anti-retaliation provision, that is expected to be signed by Gov. John Carney and passed in the Delaware General Assembly. “The Delaware Equal Accommodations Law (“DEAL”),  in part, prohibits people from refusing, withholding from, or denying others accommodations, facilities, advantages, or privileges of a place of public accommodation, based on protected characteristics of race, marital status, creed, color, sex, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.” Click here to read more about the provision and why this administrative claims process is kept separate from the state’s claims process applicable for employment issues.
