Delaware State Bar Association Names Matt Boyer for Professional Conduct Award
The Delaware State Bar Association (“DSBA”) has announced that Matthew F. Boyer will receive the organization’s 2019 “Daniel L. Herrmann Professional Conduct Award.” The honor is awarded to a member of the Delaware Bar who, over the course of time, has demonstrated those qualities of courtesy and civility which, together with high ability and distinguished service, exemplifies the Delaware Lawyer.
Matt will be presented with the award at the DSBA’s 2019 Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in Wilmington, Del. Matt is a partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment group, where he concentrates his practice compliance counseling, employment discrimination litigation, drafting and enforcement of employment agreements and restrictive covenants, internal investigations, and employment-related mediations. Since 2008, he has served as a special master by appointment of the Delaware Superior Court in cases pending in its Complex Commercial Litigation Division. Matt is an active member of the Rodney Inn of Court and has served on the boards of several charitable organizations, including the St. Thomas More Society. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Committee on Professional Ethics.
